Colin Summers M6NLC did an experiment that tested the efficacy of radials on an 80-meter antenna.
“Does the amount of radials/total length of radial wire effect antenna resonance? Did that experiment tonight on my 80m vertical starting with 4 radials (16 meters total radial length) long going up to 64 radials (256 meters total radial length). I didn’t think the difference would be so much but did expect and see this plateau off quickly.”
